variables
such as sample temperature, geographic origin, variety, crop year,
density and kernel moisture distribution; these do not affect the
accuracy of the Aquamatic.
The Aquamatic is based upon work performed
at the United States Department of Agriculture that identified 150
MHz to be the optimum radio frequency for moisture measurement in
grains. The results were drastic accuracy improvements by measuring
the dielectric constant at this higher frequency. The higher frequency
coupled with advanced computational power allows for a new calibration
technique – the Unified Moisture Algorithm – and serve
as the basis for the superior performance of the Aquamatic. It is
the most accurate grain/oilseed moisture meter available.
